There are various skin disorders from which people suffer.
A common one is eczema. Eczema is a form of dermatitis: inflammation of the epidermis, or outer layer of skin. Symptoms include redness, swelling, itching, dryness, crusting and flaking, blistering, cracking, lesions, seeping of internal fluid and bleeding, and temporary skin discolouration.
Psoriasis, another common skin ailment, is an immune-mediated disease that affects the skin and is typically a lifelong condition. Psoriasis takes place when the immune system mistakes a normal skin cell for a pathogen and emits signals that cause the overproduction of new skin cells. Psoriasis is not contagious.
Leucoderma is an acquired condition of the skin that results in localized loss of pigmentation. It may occur after enduring any number of inflammatory skin conditions, burns, steroid injections, strong medications or post-dermabrasion among other things.
Skin disorders are often effectively treatable via homeopathy.
